Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black to end with a finale 3rd Season

Netflix’s Beauty in Black will end with a third season, closing the curtain on Kimmie’s arc that anchored the drama since its first premiere in 2024. Season 2 Part 1 concluded on September 11, 2025.

Part 2 of the season arrives on March 19, 2026, adding eight more episodes to the story that has consistently performed well for the platform. For seven weeks in a row, the show has remained on the Global Top 10 and reached the top position in 28 countries during its second week.

Tyler Perry handled multifaceted roles as the show’s creator, writer, director, and executive producer. The character of Kimmie, played by Taylor Polidore Williams, gets pushed out of her home by her mother and has to rebuild her life.

On the other hand, we have Mallory, played by Crystle Stewart, who enjoys business success and has a pretty stable life. However different, their lives eventually intersect as Kimmie becomes entangled with the Bellarie family, behind whose beauty empire something sinister is revealed. The central tension in the series grows from this intersection of power, control, and personal survival.

The cast of Beauty in Black includes Crystle Stewart, Debbi Morgan, Amber Reign Smith, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet, Richard Lawson, Terrell Carter, Bryan Tanaka, Charles Malik Whitfield and many more.

The show has a strong guest star contributing to the ensemble across the two seasons: Bailey Tippen, Ace Small, George Middlebrook, Kajanee Smith, Philemon Chambers, Randall J. Bacon, Greg Clarkson, Aria Celeste Castillo, Rodrigo Aburto, and others.

Angi Bones and Tony Strickland produce for Tyler Perry Studios. The music for the series is composed by Wow Jones and Jimijame$. Beauty in Black continues Perry’s collaboration with Netflix, which has already included the sitcom Miss Governor and the romance film Ruth and Boaz.

Many recent Netflix shows are concluding this year, like Stranger Things, while many other titles have been renewed. The platform has described the final season of Beauty in Black as the conclusion of Kimmie’s journey with the people who once controlled her life.

The announcement confirms that the creative team is approaching the series with a planned structure rather than an open-ended future.
