The plot details of Vampirina: Teenage Vampire
The series is inspired by the Disney Jr. animated series Vampirina, which in turn was adapted from Anne Marie Pace’s books. It follows Vee Hauntley, a 14-year-old vampire who leaves her home in Transylvania to pursue her passion for singing at a performing arts boarding school.
Vee has to protect her real self from her classmates as well as the Van Helsing vampire hunters. However, her goal becomes difficult when a ghost accompanies her at the school at the behest of her father. But her troubles do not end there, as a Van Helsing has also joined her school, pretending to be a regular student. The official synopsis of the series reads:
“[The show follows] a tween vampire girl who leaves the safety of her Transylvania home to attend a performing arts boarding school in the human community. Living amongst humans for the first time, she pursues her passion for music while keeping her vampire identity a secret, which is something that’s made more challenging when her overprotective father enlists an overzealous ghost to live with her at the school.”
