Netflix’s Victoria Beckham is set to release in three installments starting on October 9, 2025.
The upcoming docuseries is a backstage pass into Victoria’s journey. Starting from her Posh Spice days, it then tracks her venture into the fashion world, where she built her own multi-million-dollar empire.
Nadia Hallgren is behind the camera for this one, who earlier helmed Becoming, the acclaimed documentary that provided viewers with unprecedented access to the personal and professional life of former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Moreover, this new project is landing less than two years after Victoria’s scene-stealing appearance in Beckham (the Netflix documentary released in 2023). That show was a deep dive into David Beckham’s world: his football legacy, career, and a fair bit of Victoria being iconic.
The series is produced by Studio 99, led by David Beckham. It has the built-in guarantee that viewers will again get glimpses of the Beckham family dynamic. Fans should anticipate the same family openness and cameos that made the earlier docuseries such a success, given that David himself is likely to make an appearance.
The project will place Victoria firmly in the spotlight, elevating her role beyond that of a supporting character. However, early reports suggest that not every member of the family will be taking part in this new chapter.
Although it is anticipated that David and their four children will appear, there has been speculation that Brooklyn, the eldest son, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, may not appear. Their disappearance, if confirmed, would provide an extra twist to the ongoing gossip about the Beckham household dynamic.
What to expect from the docuseries Victoria Beckham

The new docuseries, titled Victoria Beckham, will provide viewers with much more than glamour and nostalgic journeys through pop history. Rather, it is an in-depth and more fleshed-out portrait, with Victoria traced through the key phases of her life.
The story will span her earliest aspirations in England, up to the heights of international superstardom with the Spice Girls and her new incarnation as a fashion businesswoman with global recognition. Today, as both founder and creative director of her fashion and beauty brands, she has businesses bearing her name across the globe.
Victoria herself has been open about how the project was brought to life. In an exclusive interview with Bloomberg, she revealed:
“My husband convinced me to do this documentary. To be honest, I wasn't sure anybody would really want to see what I do every day. It focuses on what I do, and my role as founder and creative director of the two brands… I thought long and hard about it, and then I realised that now is the time to do it… I can talk about the journey, I can talk about struggles, because I can do that confidently, feeling it's not going to damage the brand. Nothing is sugarcoated. There are tears.”
The main idea that she emphasizes is that it is not a polished work of marketing, but an unfiltered explanation of the pressures, sacrifices, and successes that have made her career.
The series is set to blend carefully curated archival footage with fresh behind-the-scenes access, offering viewers an intimate look at key moments, including the lead-up to Paris Fashion Week 2025. Audiences will also hear directly from her inner circle, ranging from close family and long-time confidants to A-list friends within the fashion world.
In a statement, Netflix has referred to the series Victoria Beckham as:
“...an intimate look at her multifaceted life and career.”
Victoria Beckham legacy: From viral standout to star subject

The decision to place Victoria Beckham in her own series under the spotlight was not made in a vacuum. The viral and meme-worthy moments of her story in Beckham (released in October 2023) caused a rise in interest in her story on social media.
One scene in particular became symbolic of her appeal. As Victoria Beckham was sitting there during this interview, going on about how she grew up “very working class”, really laying it on. And then, from off-camera, you just hear David jump in, all cheeky: “Be honest!”
The discussion intensified with David urging her to disclose what type of car her father drove her to school in. After a brief but adorable back-and-forth, Victoria revealed:
“OK. In the ’80s, my dad had a Rolls-Royce.”
David then responded in a contented “thank you” and walked away, leaving audiences all over the world both entertained and charmed.
That previous production under the direction of Fisher Stevens provided much more than comic relief. It interweaves the legacy of David Beckham as a footballer, his personal life, and the couple’s journey in the media spotlight.
The series was not only a ratings juggernaut but also a critical success, earning acclaim because of its frank style and emotional resonance. It crowned its success by receiving an Emmy Award in Outstanding Documentary Series.
