Marvel Phase Six is slowly shaping up with upcoming titles like Vision Quest, Spider-Man: Brand New Home, and Avengers: Doomsday. The upcoming series, a WandaVision spin-off centered on White Vision, is speculated to premiere in July 2026.

According to reports, the Paul Bettany starrer has wrapped production and is all set to move into post-production, fitting right in on the schedule for a July 2026 release into Marvel Phase 6. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming WandaVision spin-off focusing on Vision.

Marvel's Vision Quest wraps production on schedule

Wanda and Vision’s story is one of the most epic and pain-filled tragedies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even though their story ended with WandaVision, Paul Bettany’s White Vision, who was introduced in the finale, is all set to take center stage with the new spin-off.

While the Marvel audience was busy with Fantastic Four and the Doomsday announcements, Vision Quest quietly wrapped up production with Paul Bettany as the White Vision.

For those who don’t know who the White Vision is, here’s a quick recap. After Thanos killed Vision in his pursuit of the Mind Stone in Avengers: Infinity War, the scientists at S.W.O.R.D. used the remains of Vision to create the White Vision, who lacks the old Vision’s humanity or his memories and could be considered a killing machine of sorts.

However, by the end of WandaVision, when Wanda’s Vision—whom she brought to life in her moment of desperation and pain—comes face to face with the White Vision, it leads to the paradoxical question of the “Real Vision.” The two Visions discuss the Ship of Theseus paradox, after which Wanda’s Vision restores his memories in the White Vision, cementing him as the new and real Vision.

Vision Quest will pick up from this point as the new Vision embarks on a journey of identity after the restoration of his memories, as explained by showrunner Terry Matalas:

"At the end of WandaVision, the original Vision was rebuilt and weaponized, and then had a moment of discovery and acceptance of who he was. Then [he] flew off. [Vision Quest] is following that character, and that character’s journey."

Even though the White Vision has all the memories of Vision, he still lacks his humanity, and the show will explore the trials he faces as he is divided between his logical programming and the human experiences he now has memories of.

The eight-episode-long series will also set up a much-anticipated confrontation between the creator and the creation, as James Spader is set to return as Ultron in Vision Quest. Additionally, T’Nia Miller is set to join as Jocasta, a Marvel AI, and Emily Hampshire as a human embodiment of Stark’s E.D.I.T.H.

Vision is one of the greatest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Paul Bettany does a fantastic job as Vision, so it will be extremely gratifying to witness Vision’s storyline in Vision Quest on Disney+.
