Surf Girls: International Season 2 aired on July 17, 2025, on Prime Video. The reality show features five international surfers navigating through the Challenger series. It includes Ewelei'ula Wong, Sophia Medina, Kika Veselko, and Jessie Van Niekerk.

The first episode of the reality show featured the cast members' introduction and their backgrounds. While sharing about themselves, their achievements, and future goals, they talked about many exciting things

One of the surfers, Sophia Medina, shared with the cameras:

"My brother Gabriel was the first Brazilian to become a world champ. But I want to be known as Sophia, not just Gabriel's little sister. I just want to write my own history."

The first episode of Surf Girls: International Season 2 featured Ewelei'ula Wong as a returning cast member. The remaining ones, Sophia Medina, Kika Veselko, Sol Aguirre, and Jessie Van Niekerk, joined the show in the second season.

During their introduction, surfers opened up about their dreams, goals, families, and achievements.

Returning cast member Ewelei'ula Wong, 19, a native Hawaiian, shared:

"I learned a lot about what it means to be in the world of pro surfing. A ton of support. Training. And Ohana in my corner has gotten me through many competitions. Bringing me closer to my dream of becoming a world champion."

She talked about how she was about to join the international stage with the Challenger Series. However, it would be her first time without her mom and her crew.

"However, this season, I've gotten to know a group of women from all around the world, and we formed a strong support system," she added.

Fellow Surf Girls: International cast member Sophia Medina, 19, from Brazil, talked about her brother, Gabriel. She shared that he was the first Brazilian to become the world champion. As for herself, she wanted to write her own history. She mentioned that she was looking forward to being known as something more than Gabriel's little sister.

Sol Aguirre, 21, hailing from Peru, talked about how she saw herself. It was seen as an "inspiration" for her country. Sol was ranked #20 on Challenger.

Jessie Van Niekern, 22, from South Africa, shared:

"My family feels strongly that surfing is exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. So, my parents are doing everything they can to support me financially to surf."

Francisca Veselko, also known as Kika from Portugal, talked about how she was also called "The bull" because people thought she resembled a bull while surfing.
