Obviously, nominations aren’t everything, but it is a really wonderful signal that people are enjoying the content that we’re making. And I love that for the team.”
Truly a triumphant year for the group. The gritty and intense storylines of all the shows that are nominated depict the efforts of the whole team. From the cast to the creators, the success is a testament to all their hard work.

2025 has undoubtedly been the year for The Pitt. This procedural medical drama stole the show. Especially with the depiction of the grueling life of the staff at the emergency room. The fast-paced nature of this drama kept the viewers hooked throughout. After the first season, fans are eagerly waiting to know what the future holds for The Pitt. Channing Dungey reveals in his interview with Variety,
“At the moment, we’re in production right now in Season 2, we’re aiming to be back on the air at the top of the year. I think right now, the focus is just making sure that we deliver as strong a season in the second season as we did in the first. Anything else maybe comes after that. We’ve not yet gone to the place of talking about spin-offs. The focus right now is all on Season 2.”
It is truly good news for all the fans of the show. Channing Dungey’s words are an assurance that the second season will also be as intriguing as the first.
Though the future of The Penguin’s second season remains uncertain, as Channing Dungey says,
“So I would say that it’s absolutely possible. We want to do it if it’s right and all of the things come together in the right way. But there’s nothing specific to share at the moment.”
We can definitely remain hopeful of getting another season of this crime drama.

While The Penguin’s future remains in question, Ted Lasso fans have reason to be optimistic, as Channing Dungey confirmed that the production is underway. He also adds that there will be intense emotional moments in the upcoming season of Ted Lasso,
“This was one of those ones where I was like, ‘I don’t know if we were going to get there,’ but we are here now. I’m really excited about the new cast. We don’t have a firm date yet from Apple. We’re talking right now about mid-year next year, so your guess is as good as mine as to what that actually means. But I would say sometime from Q2 forward.”
The future for all the shows looks promising. These much-anticipated updates give fans plenty to look forward to.
