The Amazing Race season 37 finale aired on CBS on May 15, 2025. The episode saw Jack Dodge and Carson McCalley win the race. It featured a leg in the United States in Miami, Florida.

The gamer friends who appeared on the race together ended up winning a million dollars and could not contain their joy. After travelling through more than 29,000 miles together and visiting 10 countries through this competition, they both finished the last race first, which ensured their victory.

At the end of The Amazing Race episode, Phil Keoghan announced their win. Jack was shocked and felt like the "luckiest person in the whole world. He said he was overwhelmed and was happy to get a chance to do it all with his best friend. He claimed it was the "most magical thing ever."

As for Carson, he equally enjoyed the experience and, upon winning, expressed,

"Every single day, we woke up, and we laughed, and we had a blast. I could not ask for anybody as amazing as [Jack] in my life, or in this race. Being on this race and being with Jack reminded me how much of a gift he is in my life. That just meant the world to me."

Jack, continuing the thought and emotion, said,

"We slay dragons together. We are nerds. We go on these adventures all the time in our heads, and to be able to do it in real life is unreal. I can't believe it's us. I cannot imagine a more perfect part of our story. When we were young, we were confused, closeted, little queer weirdos. And now we understand each other and ourselves."

The Amazing Race Season 37 - Carson and Jack win the race

The win was very special to Carson and Jack, who have been friends for a long time. The two are queer and love playing video games together. They say that The Amazing Race gave them a chance to become "the heroes" they "play all the time" in their hearts. They said,

"And now, it's us. We are the heroes."

The second place was bagged by Han Nguyen and Holden Nguyen as they arrived later on the final mat. Han, even though he did not win, was very grateful for the experience. He said that it was "so much more than a million dollars." This gave the sibling duo a chance to explore 10 countries together and then also find out their capabilities.

Holden was very proud of his sister and loved the experience with her. He said he would not even think of doing this with anyone else, and there was "nothing shameful about being second on The Amazing Race."

The last couple was Jonathan and Ana. They have caused a lot of controversy during their time on the show. The challenge came during their last episode, as it involved a lot of water-based activities such as sailing and hydro floating.

Ana, who almost drowned as a kid, hates the ocean now as it triggers her. However, she claimed she was proud to pull through it and still complete the challenges with her husband.
