Jennifer Aniston is an American actress widely known for her role as Rachel Green on the television series Friends. The series is a beloved sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004 and mainly follows the lives of six close friends living in New York City.

Matthew Perry played the witty and lovable Chandler Bing, for which he gained international fame, and Jennifer Aniston recently expressed heartfelt grief at Matthew Perry's death.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, she said that the cast had been mourning his drug difficulties long before his death in 2023.

Jennifer Aniston is a famous actress of the classic television series Friends. She recently spoke up about the death of her longtime co-star Matthew Perry. Perry died in October 2023 at the age of 54 from the severe effects of ketamine.

Aniston expressed deep sadness but also shared that the cast had been “mourning Matthew long before his death.” This was mainly because of his difficult battle with addiction. She said,

“We did everything we could when we could."

One of the most well-liked and prosperous sitcoms in television history is Friends, which was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, and it ran on NBC for 10 seasons and 236 episodes from 1994 to 2004.

As Rachel Green, Jennifer Aniston became a worldwide celebrity, and she won numerous accolades. This mainly included the Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy, and Chandler Bing is renowned for his witty and incisive humor. He became one of the most adored characters on the show because of Matthew Perry's performance.

Beyond Friends, Aniston and Perry had great careers. Aniston appeared in a number of successful films, including Bruce Almighty (2003), The Break-Up (2006), and Marley & Me (2008).

After an inquiry, it was discovered that Perry had gotten ketamine from a number of people. This includes a lady prosecutor called the "Ketamine Queen.” She is presently facing trial for providing the substance that killed him. As his addiction grew, Perry obtained more illicit amounts of ketamine, which he had been given for depression. Fans, family, and friends were all aware of his substance usage issues.

In her interview with Vanity Fair, Aniston described the emotional toll Perry’s battle took on the cast and those close to him. She said the group had been grieving for him long before his passing. This was because addiction is a disease that affects not just the person but everyone around them.

Aniston added that Perry was trying hard to recover in his final months, saying,

“He was getting in shape. He was happy—that’s all I know.”

A heartfelt homage to Matthew Perry's passion for making people laugh was also shared by Jennifer Aniston, who said that Perry knew he liked making others laugh, she added, and he feared he would die if he didn't hear laughing.
