Wednesday Season 2 is officially gearing up for release, and the cast list has now been finalized by Netflix.
With the success of the first season, the mystery-comedy is back in action with a combination of returnees and solid new faces. The second season will broaden its world outside Nevermore Academy but keep the narrative focused around Wednesday Addams and her dark, morbidly humorous path.
Season 2 was filmed majorly in Ireland. The season will be split into two parts: Part 1 on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 on September 3, 2025.
Let's zoom in on all the returning casts, the biggest absence, and new additions that'll make or break the upcoming storyline.
Wednesday Season 2 cast and character guide
Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams
Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, is once again at the center of the series. Ortega remains the emotionally distant detective student at Nevermore Academy.
In Season 2, her arc becomes deeper as she confronts new secrets, more emotional undercurrents, and maybe more adversaries. Her character is the soul of the show's horror story.
Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair
Emma Myers reprises Enid Sinclair, the quirky yet loyal werewolf roommate and Wednesday's best friend. At the center of Wednesday Season 2 are Enid's continued character development and supernatural elements, as her relationship remains off-center at the crossroads between empathy and gothic sensibility.
Hunter Doohan is Tyler Galpin
Hunter Doohan reprises his role as Tyler Galpin, though his character is in prison for having been outed as a Hyde in Season 1. His trajectory in Wednesday Season 2 will likely involve unresolved psychological and supernatural loose ends. The depth of his history with Wednesday and his return to Nevermore's turmoil is of utmost importance.
Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay
Joy Sunday is back as Bianca Barclay, the peer pressure and formidable siren at Nevermore. Her character in Season 2 might explore her strained condition with her mother's cult-like dominance over her life and the future of the sirens in the school.
Bianca and Wednesday's feud might get blow up under the elevated tension.

Joanna Lumley as Grandmama and Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff
Season 2 introduces Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump, an Addams archetype long overdue to enter the present timeline. She will exert influence on Wednesday's mystical and inherited legacy.
Continuing the family tradition, Christopher Lloyd, who originated the role of Uncle Fester in the 1990s movies, joins the cast as Professor Orloff, a cryptic new professor with mysterious ties to the Addamses.
Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort
Experienced actor Steve Buscemi takes on the character of Nevermore Academy's new teacher, Barry Dort. In Season 2, his character could potentially be the central figure in the internal strife of the academy or a mentor whose motive is not clearly seen at first.
Billie Piper as Isadora Capri and Thandiwe Newton
Billie Piper will play the role of Isadora Capri, a new character whose role is further stated to overlap with Nevermore's governance or academic ambitions. Thandiwe Newton is also seen in Season 2, although Netflix has not indicated information regarding her character as of July 2025.
