The final four episodes of Wednesday Season 2 finally premiered on Netflix, and fans who were looking forward to Lady Gaga's guest appearance on the show were not at all disappointed by Rosaline Rotwood's eerie and enigmatic appearance.

Even though Gaga's appearance was expected, a performance of her song 'The Dead Dance' by Enid and Agnes in the gala was the biggest surprise for fans. Apart from the exceptional choreography delivered by Emma Myers' Enid and Evie Templeton's Agnes DeMille, this dance performance and the dynamics shared by these characters have led to fans 'shipping' these two together.

In a recent conversation with TVLine, Myers essentially squashes these rumors and explains exactly why such a relationship could never happen on the show.

The eerie and deadpan humor of Jenna Ortega's Wednesday has always been at the forefront of the Netflix show. However, one thing that shone in the first season was the bond that Enid and the Addams teenager shared. In the sophomore season, the show develops Wednesday and Enid's connection. However, another bond that was the clear attraction for Season 2 was the enemies-to-kind-of-friends journey of Agnes and Enid.

In the first four episodes of the second season of Nevermore Academy, the animosity between Agnes and Enid went so far that Agnes tried to put Enid's life in danger in an attempt to get Wednesday's (her idol) attention. After this incident, Enid was not quite her happy-go-lucky self towards Agnes.

However, by the end of the season, the two developed an unlikely bond. They connected over the Addams teenager's treatment of Agnes, and it was solidified over their protection and care towards her as well.

By the end of the season, Agnes motivates Enid to perform her dance routine despite being alone and even helps her out by being her partner for the performance. Their performance of Gaga's 'The Dead Dance' led to fans speculating and shipping a relationship between the two.

However, Emma Myers shut these rumors down as quickly as they started and made it clear that Agnes was much younger than Enid, and so fans should only ship her with people her own age. In the show, Agnes is 13 while Enid is 16, putting a three-year age gap between the two:

"I say Agnes is a baby, a child. Maybe ship Enid with somebody her own age. That’s what I’ll say."

While our titular Addams is vehemently against any romantic relationships, owing to the fate she suffered with Tyler (him being a Hyde and all), the other characters, especially Enid, are bound to fall in and out of love at this age.

So, we'll get more than enough people of Enid's age to ship with her, as the show has already been renewed for its third installment, even before the second season premiered. Well, she'll have to turn back into her human form for that, considering the end of Season 2 featured Enid stuck in her werewolf form after turning to help save Wednesday's life.
