With the latest Yes, Chef! Episode 6, the culinary competition brought back two eliminated contestants and left the remaining chefs speechless. The two chefs who were surprisingly brought back to the competition include Julia Chebotar and Petrina Peart.

The sixth episode introduced a twist featuring five eliminated chefs participating in a sweet dish bake-off. The two chefs who will win over the judges are supposed to re-enter the competition. Eliminated participants Torrece Gregoire, Michelle Francis, Peter Richardson, Julia Chebotar, and Petrina Peart returned to the show, from which the latter two won the challenge.

Witnessing Julia and Petrina's return to the culinary competition made waves among the remaining chefs and also left viewers like me stunned.

Yes, Chef! Episode 6: Julia Chebotar and Petrina Peart re-joined the culinary competition after winning the sweet dish challenge

Latest Yes, Chef! episode shocked the viewers and the participants with its newest twist. As the judges revealed the eliminated chefs' return, it sent the chills down the spine. Why? As the competition was progressing, the show had six remaining chefs.

As they moved forward, they had their chances of winning the show in sight. But, with the twist, it resulted in two eliminated chefs added to the competition. Now, Yes, Chef! has eight chefs competing against each other. This unexpected twist surely disrupted the dynamics among the participating chefs.

As for Julia Chebotar and Petrina Peart's return, they were chosen through blind tasting to ensure fairness. Earlier on, Yes, Chef! fans witnessed how Julia was eliminated during the fourth episode, and Petrina was the first chef to be eliminated from the debut episode. Their return to the culinary show added even more unpredictability to the competition.

While each of the five eliminated chefs had the chance to return to the show and make their comeback, Julia and Petrina succeeded in seizing the opportunity. It surely was an intense challenge, as everything depended on the outcome of the dish they would prepare.

Returning chefs were given a chance to prepare either a sweet or savory dish, which would face blind tasting from the judges. For that, Petrina's tart, even though it had cracked during baking, she didn't give up. With her creativity, she turned it into a deconstructed pastry, which judges found innovative and also appreciated the flavor.

As for Julia, she prepared crêpe suzette with orange liqueur and blood orange. Initially, Martha Stewart had reservations about Julia preparing a crepe, but later she praised her technique. She also stated that Julia's flambéed syrup and oranges that she prepared were "delicious."

Eliminated way back in the Yes, Chef! Episode 1, Petrina truly proved herself and grabbed the spot in the competition. Her return to the show was quite unexpected, since her early exit during the introductory challenge.

Many fans felt that Julia's exit from the show was quite the turnaround, as they were not expecting it to happen so soon. But she was eliminated from episode 4 after she failed to win over the judges during the elimination challenge.

However, things worked out quite amazingly for both Julia and Petrina as they managed to grab their spots in Yes, Chef! Season 1. And who knows, if either of them ends up winning the culinary show, it surely would be one for the books!

Fans can now stream Yes, Chef! Episode 6 on NBC, which features Julia Chebotar and Petrina Peart's return.
