What happened between Ben and Yasmin on Love Island UK Season 12 Episode 18? 

Love Island UK season 12 episode 18 saw Yas and Ben finally engaging in a feud with each other. The two were a couple before the recent re-coupling ceremony broke them apart.

However, Yas now finds out that her previous partner has been talking about her to the boys in private. When this information was revealed to her, she decided to confront him and get answers for herself.

However, as soon as she started the conversation, Ben got defensive and even claimed that no one in the Love Island UK villa wanted to be with her. But Yas was having none of it and clapped back with valid points and said that she did not want her time to be wasted.

Love Island UK Season 12 Episode 18 - Yas and Ben have a conversation

The girls on Love Island UK revealed to Yas what Ben has been saying to the boys in the villa. This urged her to go have a conversation with him and understand his point of view. She sits down and starts by saying,

"What you were saying apparently to the boys — ‘Oh, Yas no good, no good...I feel like you're making out that like you were like the love of my life and I only had eyes for you, and that was so not the case.”

Ben got defensive and asked if she had not chosen him for the re-coupling. But Yas felt like that was beyond the point because who else would she have chosen? He tried to say things further, but Yas continued,

"I feel the problem with you is like is you're lucky it's me. If you were to do this to any other girl, that potentially could end way worse."

As for the Love Island UK villa residents, such as Alima, who were watching their confrontation from afar, they were cheering on Yas to clock Ben. Then Ben says that he hasn't been "feeling" Yas at all, and she thanks him for being honest.

But she also points out that his honesty has come a little late because she wasted her time on him when she could have explored some more meaningful connections.

To this, Ben got visibly frustrated and said that she had wasted Shea's time too, and it was because of him that she was still here. And after that, when she was in a couple with Ben, he reminded her that it was because of him that she was able to get out of her shell. He feels as if he has put her on the radar.

Yasmin then said that Ben is too much in his head and thinks that the world revolves around him when it does not. She said,

"Oh my god, you’re honestly so dramatic, you just think it’s the Ben show and it’s not."

The conversation progressed to even more fights, and this ended with Yas walking off. However, Ben was still mumbling and expressing his anger towards her and even said that she was "irrelevant" to the Love Island UK villa.
