Ethan Corbin III appears early in Sirens as a low-key figure living next door to Peter and Michaela Kell. He rarely speaks up at the yacht club and keeps his visits brief, giving little away about his own life.

Though polite, he stands at a distance, quietly watching the estate’s strict routines. His first few scenes hint that he notices things others miss but does not interfere. This careful introduction sets the stage for a more important role.

Shortly after his debut, Ethan and Simone DeWitt start a hidden friendship. Simone works as Michaela’s assistant under constant watch, so she needs a place to talk freely. Ethan offers to meet her at small cafés or by the beach path just outside the estate gates.

They share simple conversations about daily life and dreams they seldom voice in public. Over time, their visits grow more frequent, and a quiet trust builds between them, even though both know the risks.

Ethan makes a sudden proposal that shocks everyone

In the middle of the Sirens series, Ethan surprises all by kneeling before Simone on a rocky bluff at sunset. He asks her to marry him with little warning. Simone’s reaction is one of shock rather than joy; as she worries about what acceptance would mean under her strict household rules.

Onlookers who dart out of the mansion’s windows watch in stunned silence. This impulsive act reveals how deeply Ethan cares and how quickly his feelings have changed.

Ethan’s fall leads to serious injuries

Later that same night, tensions between Ethan and Simone flare into a heated argument at the same cliff’s edge. Ethan, seeking escape from his own emotions, drinks too much wine. He stumbles on loose rocks and falls over the side, disappearing into the dark below.

Sirens cuts away before the exact moment of the fall, so it is clear that alcohol and unstable ground, rather than a push, caused the accident. Simone’s face fills with horror as she rushes to the cliff’s edge to peer down.

Ethan wakes up in the hospital with broken bones

In the final episode of Sirens, Ethan regains consciousness in a hospital room. Nurses tell him he has broken both legs and several ribs, but has no life-threatening head injuries. His first words accuse Simone of pushing him, though medical staff point out that he was alone at the cliff and under the influence of alcohol.

Simone visits later, her voice trembling as she says she did not touch him. The tension in that room shows how one mistake can change many lives.

When Sirens ends, Ethan’s path forward is left open. Physically, he faces months of rehabilitation to learn to walk again. Mentally, he must come to terms with his own choices that night and the end of his relationship with Simone.

The Sirens series does not confirm whether he will forgive her or find a new direction in life. As of May 29, 2025, no new season has been announced. Ethan remains at a crossroads; his final fate resting on questions left unanswered by the show.
