Beauty in Black Season 2 is the first thing viewers might think of after they finish watching the second part of Beauty in Black Season 1.
Tyler Perry’s Netflix series Beauty in Black left fans eager for more after its first season. The drama, which tells the story of two women from vastly different lives, quickly gained attention for its interesting plot and bold characters. One woman is caught in a life filled with danger, while the other is trapped in a chaotic family. When their paths cross, everything changes.

According to Netflix by Tudum, Beauty in Black is described as,
"Set in Chicago, the story brings together a wealthy Black family who own a hair-care dynasty and an exotic dancer caught up in the seedy underbelly of a famed strip club."
The show stars Taylor Polidore Williams as Kimmie, Tamera Kissen as Body, Crystle Stewart as Mallory, Amber Reign Smith as Rain, Xavier Smalls as Angel, Steven G. Norfleet as Charles Bellarie, Julian Horton as Roy Bellarie, Ts Madison as Daga, and Richard Lawson as Norman. Tyler Perry not only created the series but also serves as writer and director.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Perry spoke about his upcoming Netflix film, Straw, which will be released on June 6. When asked about the future of Beauty in Black Season 2, Perry said that the second season is coming soon since the shooting of it is already complete.
When the interviewer asked how the season would be in comparison to season one, Perry said just one word:
"Better."
Season of Beauty in Black one wrapped up with some major plot twists. Horace (played by Ricco Ross) found himself losing power and tried to regain control by proposing to Kimmie (played by Williams). She accepts, hoping for a better life, which adds new tension and complications to the story moving forward.
Meanwhile, Olivia (played by Debbi Morgan) continues to manipulate the people around her, using her wealth to stay one step ahead. She blackmails Lena (played by Ashley Versher), forcing Lena into a corner with no way out. These storylines kept fans hooked and set the stage for what promises to be an entertaining second season. Beauty in Black Season 2 is expected to further explore these character conflicts and how each decision from the past continues to affect the future.
