"What is happening?": Perfect Match star Madison reacts to her partner Freddie being chosen for a date

Perfect Match Season 3 Episode 3 aired on August 1, 2025. The Netflix show’s third episode featured two new singles arriving on the show — Rachel and Alex.

With AD and Ollie’s matchmaking power, they chose Freddie and Louis to go on a date with the new singles. Reacting to that, Freddie’s partner Madison didn’t like what AD and Ollie had planned.

After she learned about Freddie’s date, the Perfect Match star confessed to the cameras:

"I just don't understand what is happening. We just matched, and you're already trying to, like, break us up."

Perfect Match Season 3 Episode 3 saw a twist involving Freddie and Louis. Fans may remember that Freddie was partnered with Madison.

It all started after AD and Ollie won the compatibility challenge in the previous episode.

As part of the reward for winning, they were given a special matchmaking power. Through that, the duo chose to send Freddie on a date with a new single, Rachel.

Perfect Match couple Ollie and AD announced:

"As you know, we are the best. We won the compatibility challenge. And that gave us power. So, first, going on a date is...Freddie."

Listening to that, Louis said it came as a surprise. Madison was not happy with how things were unfolding. She said she didn’t understand what was happening.

Adding further, Ollie shared with fellow participants:

"And then we've got...my boy, Louis. You're going on a date."

He was partnered with Sandy. She said that even though it was not a shock to her that the duo chose Louis, it didn’t feel good.

On the other hand, Louis told the cameras that he knew Ollie was going to send him on a date and that he was excited about it.

Before going on his date, Freddie told Madison not to be stressed.

"Is it a surprise? Yeah, a little bit. But I'm gonna embrace it. It's just I don't think Madison is seeing it as a good thing," confessed Freddie.

Freddie told her not to take it personally. She said it was hard not to. Madison couldn’t hold back her tears anymore.

Seeing her get emotional, Freddie comforted her. While they went on their dates, Madison talked to Juliette about how sad she felt.
