Eventually, their mission transforms into a survival test when the valley collapses into chaos.

Some scenes suggest that Ben might not going to make it as he is seen with pale skin, slipping into unconsciousness with no one to treat him medically. Everything points to a tragic, inevitable outcome, yet against all odds, Ben survives.

The credits behind Ben's survival go to the Nublar Six. The way the group channels its collective strength into saving the person whom they value and who has valued them all this time. The group members cleaned Ben's wound and kept him stable. They also carry him when needed and fight through danger to get him to the medical helicopter as soon as possible. Ben's blood was oozing, attracting dinosaurs towards him. This is when Kenji brought the car, and the Nublar Six rushed to the airbase while being chased by the dinosaur.
