Here's everything that you need to know.

Marcus and Ginny seek comfort in each other in Ginny and Georgia Season 3

Marcus and Ginny broke up in Ginny and Georgia season two. In the third season, we see them navigating their friendship post-breakup. Marcus, who has always been plagued by depressive episodes, had adversely affected his relationship with Ginny. Realising on account of his own troubles, he couldn't sustain a healthy relationship with Ginny, he decided to part ways. Marcus made that decision without providing any clarity to Ginny, which resulted in her hoping to get back together with him.

After discovering through Max that Marcus was having a hard time due to his mental health issues, Ginny tried to comfort him by staying close at hand. They tried their best to be there for each other when the hours looked grim, and ended up kissing during the sophomore dance. Marcus, meanwhile, battling alcoholism, soon made it clear that he was in no shape for a relationship with Ginny. By the end of the third season of Ginny and Georgia, Marcus goes into rehab, with Ginny still feeling hopeful of his full recovery.

Antonia Gentry speaks about her character on Ginny and Georgia Season 3

The character of Ginny has undergone quite a significant change in the latest season of the show. Speaking to Tudum from the production floor, Antonia Gentry had explained her character arc:

"Ginny is fully turning into Georgia by the end of the season, Georgia giving up (on fighting the charges, thinking she’s finally been cornered into surrender) is something that really ignited the flame in Ginny that’s like, ‘No, you’re not allowed to give up. I’ve never seen you give up. That freaks me out, so now I’m going to have to be you in order to fix this. Because you won’t be you’."

She further added that the viewers will get to watch a changed version of Ginny with an interesting morality that might surprise them.

"It's going to be a very fun new version of Ginny that we get to witness, and maybe going into next season we get to see more of that. We see her really change in that regard, where she’s like, ‘You know what? I don’t care. If this means that I have to manipulate people and blackmail, I’ll do it.’ Like mother, like daughter."
