"What a journey": Love Island UK star Shakira raises a toast with fellow finalists before the winner is announced

Love Island UK Season 12 finale aired on August 4, 2025. The last episode of the reality show featured four finalist couples. They were: Angel-Ty, Shakira-Harry, Toni-Cach, and Yasmin-Jamie.

Before the show's finale ceremony, the finalist couples enjoyed their last dinner together in the villa. While at the dinner table, they reflected on their time together on the show. All the couples shared their excitement for the outside world as they looked back on their journey inside the villa.

One of the Love Island UK finalists, Shakira, toasted, which everyone joined, she said:

"Guys, what a journey! I'm so glad I can share this moment with you all. So cheers to that."

Love Island UK Season 12: Finalists enjoy their final dinner together in the villa while sharing heartfelt feelings

Love Island UK Season 12 finale saw four finalist couples.

They were:

1. Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley
2. Toni Laites and Cach Mercer
3. Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes
4. Angel Swift and Ty Isherwood

Before the finale ceremony, Shakira received a text that read:

"Islanders, Tonight you will have a very special finalists' dinner. #FinalFeels #OneLastEvening."

As Shakira read the text out loud, everyone cheered the threw pillows in the air. Islanders jumped around and celebrated the news, after which all went inside to get ready.

At night, four finalist couples joined the last dinner together in the villa. Raising the glass, Shakira shared a toast. She said that she was "so glad" that she could share that moment with them all, and cheered.

Everyone joined the toast. Love Island UK star Toni confessed that she was going to miss being with them every day.

"You're so cute," responded Jasmin.

Yasmin's partner, Jamie, also said that he was going to miss seeing everyone's faces outside the villa. Toni said that he won't be waking up alone, and everyone laughed. However, her partner, Cach, said he would be waking up alone, and that's why he was going to miss her every day.

"And, I don't know, I feel like our life is never going to be the same," said Toni.

Ty shared that they all have won. Shakira added that maybe fairy tales were real, after all. Her partner Harry said they got their "happy ending."

During the dinner, Love Island UK star Yasmin opened up to Jamie. She said that her journey before meeting him had been "very, very rocky." She thanked him for being there. Jamie recalled their first conversation where he felt their "energy" matched. Fellow couple, Angel and Ty, also shared how they felt about each other.

"Coming into this experience, I never, ever anticipated to feel the way I feel towards you, but anyone. And, yeah, God, from our first conversation, I knew I was absolutely f*cked," said Shakira.

While reflecting on their time together, she said that she was excited for the future.
