Fox is bringing Doc Season 2 to the screens with Molly Parker returning to play the lead. The show stars her as Dr. Amy Larsen, a reputable medical professional, who loses over eight years of her memory after a traumatic incident. It leaves her with little knowledge of her usual duties at the hospital.
The first season followed Amy as she tried to piece her memories together, while facing difficulties in her professional as well as personal life. After the accident, she couldn't remember her divorce, nor did she have any memories of a relationship with one of her colleagues. That put her in a bind with her staff, who could not trust her with work anymore.
For all these reasons, Amy had to start her medical career all over again by working as an intern, no matter how much she hated doing so. Doc Season 2 is supposed to follow her professional struggles related to this hierarchy even further, since her former mentor and professor joins their team to take care of the operations.
Fans can watch Doc Season 2 on September 23, 2025, on Fox, when it premieres at 9 p.m. Eastern / 8 p.m. Central time, according to TV Guide. Let's also look at the streaming options.

More details about Fox's medical drama, Doc

In January 2025, Doc premiered its first season, based on an Italian series, Doc – Nelle tue mani, which was reportedly inspired by a real-life story of a medical professional who lost their memories of many years after a sudden accident. So, they were incapable of handling their regular responsibilities at the workplace.
As revealed earlier, Fox's adaptation followed a similar character, Dr. Amy Larsen, played by Molly Parker (Deadwood, Goliath). Besides her, the cast of Doc season 2 also includes
- Jon-Michael Ecker as Dr. Jake Heller
- Anya Banerjee as Dr. Sonya Maitra
- Omar Metwally as Dr. Michael Hamda
- Charlotte Fountain-Jardim as Katia Hamda
- Amirah Vann as Dr. Gina Walker
- Scott Wolf as Dr. Richard Miller
- Patrick Walker as Dr. TJ Coleman
Besides all these actors reprising their roles, Felicity Huffman will also join in its second season as Dr. Joan Ridley. She is Amy's former mentor, who takes charge of the hospital's operations. It will be fascinating to see how their dynamic plays out in Doc Season 2, and how Amy deals with her personal qualms after the final moments of the first season.
