The procedural comedy-drama High Potential, a success by ABC, keeps the audience entertained with its combination of stinging humor, heart, and mystery resolving brilliance. The sitcom is hosted by Kaitlin Olson and follows the adventures of a single mother, Morgan, who is able to solve complicated crimes due to her high IQ and unusual methods of doing it.
This episode, Season 2, Episode 4, will be aired this Tuesday, October 8, 2025, at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT on ABC, and it can be streamed the following day on Hulu. On-demand viewing of past episodes is also available to the fans.

It was a significant twist at the end of the episode, because a suspect who was one of the key leads was able to escape, and the remaining questions on loyalty and trust in the department remained open.
The fourth episode is called The Missing Link, and it is supposed to continue just after such occurrences. The synopsis of ABC states that a mysterious disappearance of a tech entrepreneur whose secret life brings to light shocking information is being called to be investigated by Morgan and Karadec.
When a trail of coded messages and concealed motives leads them, the unconventional approaches of Morgan again place her in conflict with her bosses, but at the same time, she makes a rather unexpected discovery.
The episode also offers more insight into the personal life of Morgan, who is a single mother and who has to balance family demands and the demanding side of her job as a police consultant. In the meantime, Karadec is under pressure building up in the department to curtail the actions of Morgan, although he begins to recognize the genius behind her messiness.
Produced by Drew Goddard, High Potential keeps receiving accolades due to its combination of procedural plot, character development, and light comedy. Having one of the most memorable performances of Kaitlin Olson leading the series, the fourth episode of the series is going to be the right combination of humor, emotion, and mystery of high stakes.

It's good casting and a lighthearted script make High Potential Season 2 keep showing that genius can manifest itself in the most unlikely places, and sometimes, the most unlikely candidate can crack the most difficult case.
