What happened in the previous episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 has released three episodes so far, and those have been a whirlwind. Here's a quick recap to catch up before the fourth episode drops.
We started this season with all five teenagers close to entering new phases of their lives. Belly and Taylor, who had just started college before the time jump in the show, were now heading towards the summer before their last semester of college before graduation, whereas Jeremiah, who was supposed to be graduating after the time jump, would have to cover an extra semester owing to some missed courses.
Steven and Conrad, on the other hand, were entering the workforce this summer. Steven graduated early from Princeton and joined Adam Fisher's finance company, and Conrad was set to join a summer internship while he was pre-med.
The premiere episodes for The Summer I Turned Pretty featured Belly and Jeremiah having been happily dating for more than four years, when Belly finds out that Jeremiah cheated on her when they were in a Ross and Rachel-adjacent "break." She feels rightfully deceived and goes on to break up with him. The internet was on Belly's side in the "were they on a break or not" debate, unlike the Ross-Rachel debate.

However, viewers were left in a state of shock when Belly decided to forgive Jeremiah and then go on to say yes to his proposal of marriage. Yes, they're now engaged. It is also revealed that Belly has a secret of her own about Conrad that she hasn't told Jeremiah.
Steven and Taylor were also in a hot and cold relationship throughout the first two episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty, which came to a head after Steven got into an accident after one of their arguments. Taylor wants to try and give their relationship another chance and tries to confess this when Steven decides to break off their relationship and start anew, convinced that they will never work.
The third episode featured everybody getting together in Cousins for Sussanah's memorial, where Jeremiah gives a speech. Conrad, who got fired from his internship on the first day because he was distracted after Steven's accident, makes a surprise visit to the memorial. The Conklins and the Fishers get together for lunch after the memorial speech. The lunch is subsequently ruined after Belly and Jeremiah decide to announce their engagement and their plans to get married this summer in front of their family.

The entire family is enraged to find out that the two of them have decided to take this irresponsible step, and most of all, Conrad is devastated to learn this news. The Summer I Turned Pretty episode pans out with a devastating shot of Conrad standing alone in front of his car after everyone has left, while No Surprises by Radiohead plays:
"This is my final fit/my final bellyache with/no alarms and no surprises."
The first three episodes were a constant back and forth, full of unexpected twists and turns, and the fourth episode will hopefully just go on to tighten its hold on the audience with the story as it plays out. The perfect background scores will also continue to hit the exact spot of demolition as the rest of the episodes are released.
