The story revolves around the famous special agent duo, and the last thing we remember from NCIS is that Ziva has apparently passed away. Struck by the loss, Tony exits his unit and takes up the responsibility of raising his and Ziva's only child, Tali (played by Isla Gie). However, much to the surprise of the viewers, it is revealed after a long time that Ziva is still alive.

Consequently, she has the most out-of-the-blue reunion with her family, joins back her team for one last dance, and moves to Paris along with Tony and Tali. Unfortunately, trouble seems to have found them pretty much easily as Tony's security organization sustains an unidentified attack.

With Tony and Ziva's lives going awry, the duo transits all throughout Europe, escaping along with their child while also aiming to get to the bottom of who is exactly after them. The spin-off show is not just an action-packed reunion of the two central characters but also an intense emotional journey of a family that has just gotten together.

A month ago, Paramount had dropped the 'First Look Trailer' for NCIS: Tony & Ziva, and as is quite evident from the comments section, the special agent pair has received lots of love and support from fans all around the world. According to Deadline, stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have reportedly expressed their excitement about having returned to "Tony and Ziva's next chapter."

To quote their exact words:

"We’re beyond excited to finally share Tony and Ziva’s next chapter with the incredible fans around the world who never stopped believing this day would come."

They further added:

"Returning to these roles together on screen after more than a decade has been an unforgettable journey packed with lies, spies, danger, desire…..and self-driving murder cars. (Don’t worry, that last one will make sense soon). This is one wild ride you won’t want to miss, and as they say in Paris: Accrochez-vous bien!"
