All Her Fault, with its eight episodes, completely shook the internet with its thrilling premise. Chicago becomes the location for All Her Fault

Unlike the book, in the series, we see that the setting is in Chicago. The series, which begins with Marissa Irvine’s son getting kidnapped, truly takes us on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Marissa initially thinks that her son is on a playdate at the house of one of her son’s classmates.

She reaches the house to pick her son up. However, she finds that she has been given the wrong address. The owner of the house does not know anything about her son. She also finds out that the child’s mother, who was supposed to take care of her son, does not live there. She was given the wrong address so that she would get disoriented. Her son is nowhere to be found.

The filming locations of All Her Fault

Chicago’s Millennium Park became a crucial filming location for All Her Fault. It can be seen at the very beginning of the series. The scenes involving the Irvine house, which can be seen throughout the series, are filmed at Red Hill South. It is on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. The Capitol Grand building in South Yarra is also an integral filming location of All Her Fault.

Certain scenes were also filmed at the Chicago Riverwalk, Marina City, and many other places. The filming locations perfectly captured the essence that the series wanted to emanate. The manner in which Marissa struggles to find the truth about her son and, slowly, the investigating officers navigate through the details of the case comes to life using the backdrops of the filming locations. All Her Fault is not just limited to Marissa’s search for her son.

The storyline of All Her Fault features multiple storylines intertwined to give a seamless blend. Each and every character in the series goes through certain complications that trigger their actions. This can be seen in Detective Alcaras’s actions. Detective Alacaras initially seemed to be a dedicated, law-abiding officer. However, as the story progresses, a darker side of his story comes to light. It is revealed that he is struggling because of his son’s health.

His son needs special care. It can only be possible if he gets admitted to a prestigious school. However, getting into this school is not easy. He is then given a chance to get a seat for his son at the school in exchange for tampering with evidence in another case.

He completely refuses to cater to the illegal demands in the beginning. However, the desire for his son’s well-being pushes him to take the action of doing the illegal task. Each and every element of the complications that the characters face in the series perfectly connect to give us a story worth investing our time in.
