The psychological thriller, Lazarus, in the Amazon Prime series, was shot in Liverpool, Manchester, and Morecambe in Lancashire. The six-part series is set in these North UK locations, and it airs on 22 October 2025. Lazarus stars Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, and Alexandra Roach. The story is about a forensic psychologist who comes home after his father has apparently committed suicide, only to discover that there is a connection with long-buried murder cases.
Lazarus was filmed in early 2024, and people in these areas saw production crews at well-known locations, parks, and even at resorts. The selection of Liverpool, Manchester, and Morecambe was also due to the practicality of the filming location, as well as the diversity of setting required in a psychological thriller.
