Outlander: Blood of My Blood is a historical romance drama show that is a prequel to the Outlander series. Based on the characters by Diana Gabaldon, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, features Harriet Slater, Hermoine Corfield, and others. The first season of the show premiered on STARZ on August 8, 2025.

Developed by Matthew B. Roberts, the prequel series looks at the love life of Jamie Fraser’s parents, Brian Fraser and Ellen Mackenzie. The show also explores the lives of Claire Beauchamp’s parents, Henry Beauchamp and Julia Moriston. While Brian and Ellen fall in love with each other in 18th century Scotland, Henry and Julia’s love story occurs during World War I in England. Therefore, providing the viewers with authentic and beautiful visuals is important.
