Red Bank, known for its suburban wealth and boutique main street, was used for a major portion of the series. Production dressed blocks on East and West Front Street to create the protagonist’s posh New Jersey neighbourhood. Boutiques, cafés, and preserved period houses completed the area’s look, giving it the perfect suburban feel. Red Bank’s small city streets made it easy for the crew to transform real shops into fictional businesses.

Jersey City provided some civic texture to contrast the suburban atmosphere. It offered a busier, more metropolitan backdrop for scenes involving public protests around Nile Jarvis’s development plans.
