Among the award-winning series that fans love to rewatch is Band of Brothers, which tells the true story of a group of American soldiers called Easy Company. It was part of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division during World War II, and the show covered the entire journey.

The story covers the tough training from 1942 to the battles in Europe until Japan surrendered, and it ended the war. To make it even more touching and emotional, the series will follow the actual events from Stephen E. Ambrose’s book of the same name.

So if you wish to stream Band of Brothers, tune in to HBO Max. The series is part of HBO’s original collection, so you’ll need an active subscription to stream it. HBO Max subscribers can access the entire miniseries in high quality.

Another way you can enjoy the show is through Amazon Prime Video if you have added the HBO Max channel. But a subscription plan is a must, even for Amazon Prime Video, to access the HBO Max channel.

Band of Brothers follows Easy Company’s important operations in Europe. It starts with their parachute training in the United States and follows the major events of the war: D-Day, the liberation of Carentan, Operation Market Garden, the difficult Siege of Bastogne, the entry into Germany, the discovery of a concentration camp, and the taking of Hitler’s personal villa, the Eagle’s Nest.

But it is not only about action but also about brotherhood, fear, bravery, and what war does to people. Each episode frequently highlights one soldier’s personal experiences or difficulties. And when the show is this good, fans would definitely love to rewatch Band of Brothers.

As mentioned above, HBO Max is the first option to enjoy the TV show, and also through Amazon Prime Video. On Apple TV, Band of Brothers isn’t available through a subscription but can be purchased.

You can buy the entire season, usually starting around $34.99, or individual episodes at a lower price each. Once purchased, the episodes remain permanently available in your Apple TV library for rewatching anytime.

Additionally, Amazon also sells physical Blu-ray and DVD versions with free delivery on many orders. But this doesn’t mean the show is free to stream. The free delivery only applies to the physical purchase.

The main characters in this TV series include Major Richard "Dick" Winters, whose journey began as a junior officer and transformed him into a great leader. Then we have Captain Lewis Nixon, who happens to be Winters' best friend.

Other key figures whom fans and viewers love in Band of Brothers are Captain Herbert Sobel, First Sergeant Carwood Lipton, Staff Sergeant Joe Toye, Private David Kenyon Webster, and more.

To ensure that the series followed actual events, lead writer Erik Jendresen said:

"Nothing was made up. It was all about what we didn’t have room for. What these men did really happened."

Jendresen also said that the idea to show real World War II veterans at the beginning of each episode came from Mark Cowen, who had filmed them for a documentary. Tom Hanks then suggested using those clips in the show, but not revealing who the veterans were until the very end.
