South Park Season 27: War with Canada, Statue of Liberty, P. Diddy, and more

After a wait of almost two years, the beloved adult animated series will finally be back with new episodes on July 23, 2025.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Stone and Parker confirmed that Season 27 is purposely returning after a two-year wait to dodge the 2024 elections:

“We’ve tried to do South Park through four or five presidential elections, and it is such a hard thing to—it’s such a mind scramble, and it seems like it takes outsized importance...I don’t know what more we could possibly say about Trump.”

While the creators were decisive about sitting out during the election year, the wait has only given them more headlines to include in the latest season, as the trailer hints.

The sitcom has certainly never shied away from speaking its mind about the world events, and Season 27 will just be the same. From a bird flu infection to a raid on the Statue of Liberty to an overexploding dirty bathroom, the new season will return with its bizarre and raunchy satire.

In addition, as seen from the trailer, Season 27 will also feature P. Diddy, the famous rapper who is currently facing charges for sex trafficking and racketeering; major plane crashes; and the US-Canada tariff war after Donald Trump proposed to make Canada the 51st state.

Stream South Park Season 27 from July 23, 2025.
