Netflix is reconfiguring its catalog yet again, this time by adding a slew of AMC shows that fans have been waiting to see on a larger platform. Eleven shows from the network's library, including new seasons of The Walking Dead offshoots, the Anne Rice horror dramas, and acclaimed dramas like Dark Winds, are officially coming to the streaming service.
The move is part of an expanded partnership between AMC and Netflix that provides a second life to these series off cable and allows for a much greater global reach. For audiences, this means more than just a chance to re-watch their old favorites.
It's to catch up on newer additions that may have gone unnoticed. AMC has consistently been a leader in bold storytelling. From supernatural thrillers and hard-nosed crime dramas to character-driven stories. Netflix subscribers can now enjoy all this variety in one place.
The rollout will begin this fall, starting with the return of Interview with the Vampire season 2, and other big names that will closely follow. With 11 shows locked in, this is probably one of the biggest additions Netflix has made all year!
