However, instead of getting scared by Sweet Tooth’s words, the driver tells Sweet Tooth some interesting news. He tells him that he has strict orders to bring him in chains.

When Sweet Tooth asks to know the identity of the person who gave the orders, the taxi driver smiles in a sinister manner and tells him that the orders are straight from Sweet Tooth’s father, Charlie Kane.

He adds that Charlie Kane is impressed by the actions of his son. This makes Sweet Tooth eager to visit his father, and he runs along with the taxi. It can be understood that Charlie Kane is also involved in some shady tasks, just like his son. The series just gives a subtle hint of his existence, and much of it is left under a shroud of mystery.

The series takes the decision to make Charlie Kane Sweet Tooth’s father, instead of how it is in the video game. There is also a sinister aspect to the whole post-credit scene, which is a clear indication that Charlie Kane is definitely going to cause some trouble in the upcoming season of the series.

The reunion of Charlie Kane with his son will definitely be a remarkable aspect of the plot. Though the series remains faithful to the game in most respects, the change in the father-son dynamic of Charlie Kane and Sweet Tooth definitely introduces new twists and turns.

There is no official confirmation about whether Twisted Metal is getting renewed or not. However, the ending leaves us with many questions about the storyline. To unfold and divulge the plotlines, the series definitely needs to get renewed. The series has also received a positive response from the viewers worldwide.
