And Just Like That, the Sex and the City spin-off, which premiered its third season on May 29, 2025, is coming to an end on August 14, 2025. This marks the end of an era, which told the stories of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha, and, recently added, Seema and Lisa. Other than the main, recurring, and guest actors who have left a mark on the show, one extra actor has stood out.

Christopher Clark is an actor who has played multiple extras in both the film Sex and the City 2 and the show And Just Like That. He was most recently seen in And Just Like That's season 3 episode 9, Present Tense, but there's so much more to the actor's presence in these two shows.

Who is Christopher Clark in And Just Like That?

In his most recent appearance, Christopher Clark appears in the last scene of Present Tense, in the same bar where Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) meets her friends after her difficult conversation with Aidan. Usually, an extra in this scenario would not have any lines, but the cast was told they could say anything they wanted since the scene would be accompanied by Sarah Jessica Parker's voiceover narration.

Thus, while we cannot hear what he said, we can see Clark's mouth move as he says something.

Regarding this, Clark told CNN in an interview,

“At one point they said, ‘Big things just happened on the show, and the girls are getting together,’ but I didn’t know there would be a sad Taylor Swift song and that it would be an emotional moment,”

He continued,

"I was just sitting at the edge of the bar, having fun and enjoying life.”

Clark has appeared as an extra in multiple scenes of Sex and the City 2 and And Just Like That, like the time he played a waiter at an event at Charlotte's house. Since he has played quite a few extras on this show and the 2010 film, he has become quite attached to these characters. As Clark told CNN,

“In my (albeit somewhat imaginary) mind, I’m there with them because these characters mean so much to me,”

Clark also expressed how much he loved playing the roles that he has on the show, saying,

“It’s interesting because we filmed this a year ago,”

He continued,

“And I’ve been lucky enough to work on this show a few times; it’s always been a dream."

We will most likely not see Clark in any more episodes of this franchise since the show is coming to an end soon. In a statement, showrunner, writer, and director of And Just Like That, Michael Patrick King, announced that this will be the last season of the show. Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, made an Instagram post bidding farewell to her character and the show, with one line said about her character standing out:

I think I have loved her most of all.

If there were to be another spin-off of Sex and the City or And Just Like That, we might see more of Christopher Clark. Besides, his time on the show might just open up new opportunities for the actor, and we might see him in a whole new show altogether.

The two final episodes of And Just Like That come out on August 7 and 14, 2025, respectively, on HBO Max. Sex and the City and the released episodes of And Just Like That are streaming on HBO Max.
