Wolf King Season 1 has enthralled the viewers with its stunning visuals and high-octane adventures. Directed by Tom Brass and based on the novels by Curtis Jobling, Wolf King Season 1, is a British animated epic and fantasy-adventure series.

The show dropped on Netflix on March 20, 2025, and features a voice cast including Cel Spellman, Rob Rackstraw, Kate Fleetwood, and others. The series is set in a world subjugated by werelords, and 16-year-old Drew Ferran (voice of Spellman) realizes that he is the last person in a long line of werewolves.

Voiced by David Dawson, Count Vega is a Wereshark and the former ruler of the Cluster Isles. In Wolf King Season 1, he now leads a life of piracy aboard his ship, the Maelstrom.

Even though he is the rightful prince of the Cluster Isles, he was overthrown by his former ally, a Weresquid. He is also known as The Kraken Ghul. Count Vega is charming and bold and is now a Pirate Prince.

Count Vega was cast out of his palace in Cutter’s Cove by King Leopold, and he has therefore been a pirate since the last 15 years. As he wants to ingratiate himself to the Lion, Count Vega is sometimes not trusted by his fellow Werelords.

In the past, the Count did indulge in traitorous actions during the last Werewar. On his ship, the Maelstrom, he is one of the deadliest pirates at sea. He undergoes a change of heart when he meets Drew Ferran and turns loyal to the Wolf and becomes his sea marshal.

As a pirate, Vega is a skilled swordsman and is brave. He can use blades and is agile at land or sea. He can take on dangerous armed combatants and skillfully fight against them. Vega knows how to use his wereshark form to his advantage.

Vega is cunning and sharp and wants to get back to his kingdom. Therefore, he always wants to get back to Cluster Isles and get back his authority at any cost.

He therefore betrays Leopold and joins the revolt against him at High Cliff. Vega also has a lot of integrity and just wants his home and kingdom back. Even though he can lie and deceive, he remains loyal when he joins Drew.
