MobLand, the crime drama that premiered on Paramount+ on 30th March 2025, wrapped up its first season on 1st June 2025. The key conflict of the show, that is the war between the Harrigans and Stevensons, started when Eddie, Conrad Harrigan's grandson, killed Richie Stevenson's son, Tommy.

While the entire season shows us the conflict getting worse, the show ends with Harry wiping out the Stevensons. However, there is a chilling revelation: Kevin isn't Eddie's father.

Who is Eddie's real father in MobLand?

From the beginning of MobLand, we see that Conrad and Maeve have two sons, Brendan and Kevin, and Conrad has a daughter (with another woman), Seraphina, who is Maeve's step-daughter. Kevin is married to Isabella, and the two have a son, Eddie. However, things are not so simple as that.

In episode seven of MobLand, The Crossroads, the heir to the Harrigan empire, Brendan, is killed by the leader of a Mexican cartel, Jaime, on the orders of Richie Stevenson. This leaves Kevin and Seraphina as the possible heirs to the Harrigan empire.

In MobLand episode eight, Helter Skelter, Maeve discusses the future of the family with Kevin. She makes it adamantly clear that Seraphina will not be the one to inherit it all, and that it'll be Kevin or his unnamed 'other brother'. We haven't been told who this 'other brother' is yet. Kevin isn't happy about this news and curses at Maeve.

At that very moment, Eddie walks into the room. The characters don't explicitly state that Eddie is the 'other brother', but it's as if there is a slight allusion that he is. Maeve has already been manipulating Eddie. Her manipulation is the reason Eddie killed Tommy in the first place, and we know that she has been using Eddie however she likes. Hence, she might be preparing him to be the heir to the empire all along.

But in episode eight, it is only alluded to that Eddie might be the 'other brother', which means he is the son of Conrad and Bella. This theory wasn't far off, given that Isabella had already mentioned before that she had some sort of affair with Conrad. In MobLand episode ten, The Beast in Me, it is confirmed that Eddie is, in fact, Conrad's son.

When Kevin was in prison, at some time in his past, he was s*xually abused by a prison guard, Alan Rusby. Years later, in the present timeline, Kevin runs into Rusby again. He confronts Rusby, and while he initially only threatens to kill him, he returns to finally kill Rusby and take his revenge. The usually calm and logical Harrigan son finally breaks, and we see how much that past trauma has shaped him as a person.

We see a brief moment when Kevin is talking to Rusby's dead body and admits that Eddie isn't his son. He confesses that Eddie is Conrad and Bella's son. It is hence confirmed that Bella was one of the many young women Conrad had an affair with, resulting in Eddie being born.

We don't know yet who will be the successor to the Harrigan empire. It could be Kevin, given his logical reasoning and how well he knows the business. But the family could once again fall victim to Maeve's tactics, who might push for Eddie to be the successor, as he is much more ruthless and more like Conrad in comparison to Kevin.

MobLand is streaming on Paramount+.
