Your Friends & Neighbors, the Apple TV show, has just revealed its biggest plot twist. However, we knew this was coming. At the show's beginning, we saw Andrew Cooper (played by Jon Hamm) wake up next to a dead body in someone else's home. He tries to flee the scene to avoid suspicion, but in his panic, he jumps into the swimming pool. The entire show is Cooper looking back at what led him to that moment.

Your Friends & Neighbors revolves around Andrew Cooper's life going downhill after he gets divorced and then fired, and how he resorts to stealing to cope with his finances. In episode five of Your Friends & Neighbors, This Tourist Has Balls, Paul Levitt is found dead, and Cooper is temporarily arrested when the police find the gun used to kill Paul in Cooper's car trunk.

Cooper has been a criminal recently, stealing from his 'friends and neighbours', but he is not a murderer. But if he did not kill Paul, who did? Let's look at our prime suspects.

Who killed Paul Levitt in Your Friends & Neighbors?

We know that Andrew did not kill Paul (played by Jordan Gelber). However, since the murder weapon was found in his car's trunk, we know he was framed. But who among the seemingly innocent characters of Your Friends & Neighbors would do that? Or why? Let's look at our suspects.

Sam Levitt

The first obvious suspect is Sam Levitt (played by Olivia Munn), and it is not just because she is Paul's ex-wife. While her frustration over Paul already moving on could be a reason as to why she kills him, there could be other reasons as well.

Paul's body was found in Sam's house, already signaling that something was off. She has a concrete alibi that saves her from the police's suspicion, but she keeps accusing Andrew of killing Paul. This could be because she is trying to protect herself or whoever she hired to do her dirty work. Besides, Andrew's not wanting to take their relationship as a serious one could also be the reason she kills Paul to frame him.

Elena

A big revelation in episode eight of Your Friends & Neighbors is that someone stole all the valuable things Andrew had stolen while he was under arrest. Elena (played by Aimee Carrero) was the only one who knew about his endeavors, making her a possible suspect.

Besides, we know that she owns a gun. It's thus possible that after Elena and Andrew decided to go different ways, she went to Sam's house to look for something to steal. But upon finding Paul there, she killed him to avoid getting caught. She then might have placed the gun in Cooper's car to frame him. Besides, her stealing everything Andrew had previously stolen after framing him would make complete sense as well.

Bruce

Bruce (played by Ramin Karimloo) is a possible suspect because he was at Cooper's house right before the gun was discovered in Cooper's car, with his DNA on it. While the motive is not clear, there is plenty of reason that suggests Bruce might have killed Paul and framed Cooper for the crime.

Nick

There is only one reason Nick (played by Mark Tallman) might have killed Paul and is now framing Andrew. Nick has been wanting to have a more serious relationship with Mel, Cooper's ex-wife. However, Mel still has feelings for Cooper, which stop her from going all out with Nick.

We know that Nick also fought with Paul earlier in Your Friends & Neighbors. It could be possible that he killed Paul and then tried to frame Cooper for it to get him out of the way. That way, he can taint Cooper's image in front of Mel and finally be with her.

With two episodes of Your Friends & Neighbors yet to be released, we can only hope that the real murderer is identified. It would also be interesting to see the Cooper family's reaction if and when they find out about Andrew's selling endeavors.
