Crave's hit series Shoresy is finally back for Season 5, and the viewers are hooked to see what's next for Shore and the Sudbury Bulldogs. A spinoff of Letterkenny, this show has successfully made its mark, which is one of the reasons it has been repeatedly renewed in a span of three years or so.
But since it's a spin-off, we do see some familiar faces in Shoresy. For instance, Kim Cloutier, who played a recurring character, Anik Archambault (Daryl's former partner), in Letterkenny. She first appeared in Season 3 as a smart and confident French Canadian woman (from the Ontario-Quebec region) and then went on to appear in the later Seasons as well. She reprises her role as Anik in Shoresy Season 4, although she did have a few small appearances in Season 1.
Some of Kim Cloutier's notable projects include The Cobbler and The Hole.
Here's more about it.
Who does Kim Cloutier play in Shoresy?
Kim Cloutier reprises her role as Anik Archambault in Shoresy. Her chaotic on-and-off relationship with Daryl did shape her storyline in Letterkenny. However, when they finally broke off, Anik got an exciting offer. Remember her racy Instagram pictures? Yes, those snaps helped her land a deal with BROdude. How? Jonesy and Reilly initially asked if she would be interested in helping them for a photoshoot with BROdude. When the representative saw her pictures, they offered her a six-figure contract. Anik later appeared in Letterkenny Season 9 and briefly got involved with Dierks. But later she realizes that Dierks is a scumbag and dumps him.
In Shoresy, she returns as the host of the BRODude-sponsored sports panel show, Questionable Call. Her vibrant and extroverted personality makes her a good sports show host, which features several hockey players. In Season 4 Episode 1 of Shoresy, Shore's the new hockey analyst on the BROdude's brand-new hockey show, 3 on 1, where Anik serves as a host. But the show initially gets a lukewarm response since Shore respects the third chair, Dougie Gilmore, and avoids arguing with him. Later, Anik and Emma plan to bring his rival, Sean Avery, and well, it's a success. Shore keeps arguing with him. However, he does not seem too happy since he can't play hockey anymore.
In Season 4, we finally see that Shore accepts Nat's offer to coach the Sudbury Bulldogs, which means his role as a BROdude's hockey analyst takes a back seat, but Anik doesn't back down. In Season 5 Episode 2, Emma and Anik try to bring back Shore to BROdude, but he refuses, even though they make him some lucrative offers. But things take a turn when they reveal that they are doing a segment with Wayne Gretzky and Shore, and without any second thoughts, agrees.
However, when he learns that Gretzky isn't coming, he doesn't get too upset. He reveals that Gretzky's coming to the show is the best thing that happened to him. Even though Anik's a bit stressed, Shore cheers her up, and they have an amazing discussion on NHL Twitter accounts. Later, Gretzky calls Shore and apologizes for coming to the show.
