And Just Like That returned with season 3 on May 29, 2025, and brought the ladies back to navigating life, friendships, and relationships, now in their 50s. The series began with Carrie settling down in her new home and Aiden and her maintaining a long-distance relationship.
However, things don’t seem as smooth for Carrie in the two episodes released of the new season. The long-distance relationship might not work due to communication issues between the two, and Carrie’s new home gave her a life-threatening scare when she saw that her backyard was infested with rats.
To solve this grievous problem, a new character enters Carrie’s home named Adam, played by Logan Marshall-Green. This new attractive character is a landscaper whom Carrie has hired to redo her backyard. Although not much has been revealed about the character yet, but coming into the scene where Carrie and Aiden are struggling to keep up their relationship, did teases that something more might happen in Carrie and Adam’s story.

Who is the landscape architect in And Just Like That? Character explored
In season 3 episode 2 of And Just Like That, the new character of Adam, a landscaper, shows up at Carrie's door and picks up her cat from letting her the feline run out of the house. The landscaper was called after Carrie found out about her backyard being infested by rats. To get rid of the rats, Carrie had to get rid of the bushes in her garden as well, prompting her to call a landscape architect to renovate the backyard.
Adam asks Carrie about her vision regarding the design, to which she replies, she liked how it was, and now she doesn’t know what to do with the space. The landscape architect tells her that sometimes not knowing helps the situation.
Their conversation might mirror the situation Carrie’s life is in right now, teasing what might happen between these two characters. Adam shows up at the end of episode 2, and his story might be further revealed in the upcoming episodes the show.

Who plays Adam, the landscape architect in And Just Like That?
The 48-year-old American actor, Logan Marshall-Green, is the newest addition to And Just Like That season 3, playing Adam, the landscape architect hired to renovate Carrie’s backyard.
Logan has appeared in numerous popular TV shows such as The O.C., 24, and has also appeared in Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Besides TV shows, the NYU graduate has also appeared in films such as Spider-Man: Homecoming, Snowden, Prometheus, and The Invitation.
