Louisa Guy from Slow Horses is portrayed as a richly complex MI5 agent whose character evolves through tragedy, resilience, and allegiance. The character, portrayed by Rosalind Eleazar, is exiled to Slough House when her last operation goes disastrously wrong.

Guy lost her target, and the fallout led to guns getting smuggled into the wrong hands. She never let this incident pull her down, and she remained one of the most competent agents within the group of agents in Slough House who seemed like a misfit in the cop profession. Guy emerges as the only "sane one" among them. She is often described as a "Broken ace" among the team.

As mentioned, Guy is an MI5 agent who is the most competent within the department. In Slow Horses, she seems to form a deep bond with River. Their camaraderie brings her out of her shell and positions them as a capable duo by season 3.

After losing an important case, which further led to some arm cache getting lost on the street, she finds herself again and is perhaps the most capable among all "Slow Horses". Throughout the season, Louisa is portrayed as emotionally grounded, quietly resilient, and a rare stable presence amid her chaotic surroundings.

She shares a romantic bond with Min Harper, which adds more emotional depth to her character in season 2. She loses Min, which becomes a major event in her character arc. They are both assigned work together during the initial days of their career, and while spending a night out at a bar, their bond deepens. While Min is not that disciplined, Louisa is focused and meticulous in her actions. This often led to some banter between the couple.

Louisa is on a case involving the mysterious death of Dickie Bow, who was a former agent, found dead on a bus. In one of the scenes, she explains to River that Dickie likely died of heart failure, looking at his health reports. But later she finds out that he was tracking a bald man, which becomes a major unveiling.

Jackson had to choose someone to pick up the hard drive to track the bald man again, and he chose Min. However, Min gets uneasy with the information and looks at Lousia at the moment, suggesting their close bond.

In one of the episodes, Louisa gets irritated when Min tests her knowledge of their assignment; she knows the details cold. She realises Min has forgotten key information and hands him the assignment folder, showing she’s the more prepared partner.

Louisa and Min are working together undercover as a couple to get close to Pashkin’s security detail. During this assignment, when Louisa is shown meeting Piotr inside the glasshouse, a violent confrontation occurs, and Min, who is outside, intervenes to protect her. Min, during his efforts, is coldly shot, leaving him dead.

Min's death becomes a huge emotional blow for Louisa, just when their teasing partnership was turning into a real romantic connection; she loses him. The operation concludes, but Louisa is deeply affected.

Season 2 closes her arc with her returning to Slough House, visibly grieving but back at her desk.
