However, it is later revealed that Joe knew about Cheryl’s secret. Cheryl was a transgender but her boyfriend was not aware of this information. When Joe, Cheryl’s boyfriend’s brother, came to know about it, he wanted to tell the truth to him, which Cheryl was against. To prevent Joe from revealing her truth to Eddie. In the end, Cheryl was taken into police custody and then sent to prison for her actions.

Katherine Moening truly does a commendable job in bringing out the aspects of emotions and intensity that we see in Cheryl’s character through her performance. She has rocked the world of entertainment with her performances one after another. She often takes on smaller roles. Yet she steals the show even with the limited screentime that she has.
