Tyler Johnston makes his first appearance as Deacon in Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 5, ONURMRK. With his black hood-like mask, sleeveless leather jacket, and a cross necklace, he instantly makes his presence felt in the show.

Johnston has been a part of the television and film industry for over two decades. He made his acting debut in 2004 with an episodic appearance in Nickelodeon’s Romeo! He then went on to make brief appearances in shows like Supernatural, The L Word, Godiva's, and Zixx: Level Two.

In 2007, he made his big screen debut with the film Decoys 2: Alien Seduction and was later seen in Slap Shot 3: The Junior League, Pressed, and 2BR02B: To Be or Naught to Be. From 2010 to 2012, Johnston played Danny Lubbe in the Canadian comedy drama Less Than Kind, which marked his first major television role.

The actor had his breakthrough with the Crave and Hulu sitcom Letterkenny. Johnston starred as Stewart, the leader of the town’s ice hockey team named The Skids. He appeared in over 70 episodes of the show across seven years and achieved a dedicated fan following.

Before starring in Twisted Metal Season 2, Johnston made appearances in the shows Two Sentence Horror Stories and Hudson & Rex. In Twisted Metal Season 2, he is seen playing an unconventional character as Deacon. At some point in his life, Deacon joins the Holy Men and becomes one of their top members.

When the Twisted Metal tournament is announced, Deacon arrives to compete in it along with Brenjamin. Meanwhile, he is also emotionally attached to a baby who he thinks is the reincarnation of Preacher from Season 1.

Deacon creates chaos in the Peacock series soon after his introduction as he pulls out a shotgun to attack Sweet Tooth; however, his plans go awry due to Harold’s intervention. Johnston’s performance in the series is proof of his versatility, and he has already impressed the audience with his act.
