A mysterious woman came calling for Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray) in Sullivan's Crossing Season 2, who was eventually revealed to be his estranged sister, Sedona Jones.

Episode 7 of Season 2, titled Reunions marked Canadian-American actress Meghan Ory's debut in The CW's romantic series, in which she played the character of Sedona. While Ory's character arc was seemingly concluded within four episodes, it provided some much-needed insight into Cal Jones' former life and childhood.

Meghan Ory is best known for playing the lead character in Hallmark's Chesapeake Shores, a series adaptation of Sherryl Woods' book series of the same name.

Meghan Ory plays Sedona in Sullivan's Crossing: Exploring the star's career

Canadian-American actress Meghan Ory has worked in both shows and films. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Ory began her acting career in theatre, where she worked during her teens. Ory made her professional debut in Fox's 1999 television movie The Darklings.

The Sullivan's Crossing star made her small-screen debut with a guest role in the Canadian superhero series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, before landing her first regular TV role in Fox Family's 2000 series Higher Ground. Meghan Ory starred alongside Hayden Christensen and A.J. Cook in Higher Ground. In 2001, Ory also joined the Canadian series Vampire High.

In the following years, Ory continued to appear in series like The Outer Limits, Dark Angel, Psych, Flash Gordon, and Supernatural.

In 2011, Meghan Ory made her debut as Ruby / Red Riding Hood in ABC's fantasy adventure series Once Upon a Time. The show marked the star's breakthrough role, and she was even promoted to the main cast in Season 2.

However, in 2014, Ory left the show to star in CBS's cyber-themed action series Intelligence. While the show was cancelled after just one season, Meghan Ory continued to guest-star as Ruby in Once Upon a Time.

In 2016, Meghan Ory debuted as Abby O'Brien-Winters in Hallmark Channel's romantic series Chesapeake Shores. The show ran for six seasons and concluded in 2022.

Recently, Meghan Ory starred as Sedona Jones in Sullivan's Crossing Season 2.

Who is Meghan Ory's Sedona in Sullivan's Crossing Season 2?

Meghan Ory's Sedona Jones was an interesting addition to the Sullivan's Crossing cast in Season 2. Her character not only revealed some much-needed answers about Cal's past but also featured a closure for the brother-sister duo.

Sedona's introduction revealed the Jones siblings' childhood with their volatile and schizophrenic father, following which Cal was worried that his sister might have inherited their father's mental illness. Proving Cal's worst fears true, Sedona soon started to have seizures and hallucinations and was assisted by Maggie.

While Sedona's hallucinations suggested she might be schizophrenic like her father, it also allowed Cal to right his wrongs, and he apologised to his sister for cutting off after his wife's death.

Sedona's arc came to its conclusion in the Sullivan's Crossing Season 2 finale, when Sedona agreed to return to her home with her husband and initiate the possible treatment for her condition.
