Netflix's One Day star Leo Woodall plays a math genius on Prime Target, Apple TV's latest miniseries, created by Steve Thompson.

Leo Woodall is a British actor who rose to fame as Jack, a British boy on HBO's The White Lotus.

More on Prime Target's star Woodall's role in The White Lotus in our story.

Prime Target star Leo Woodall rose to fame after The White Lotus Season 2

While the British actor and Prime Target star Leo Woodall made his Hollywood debut in 2019, it was only after starring in the critically acclaimed series The White Lotus Season 2 that he rose to fame.

He joined the Season 2 cast as Jack, a British 26-year-old man and Quentin's nephew. Woodall was his charming self on the show, flirtatious towards many women, including Tanya's assistant Haley Lu Richardson's Portia.

The two seem to be getting along well, and it was hinted that they might start a relationship until Quentin's plan to murder Tanya with the help of Jack surfaced. Jack's seduction of Portia was only a ploy to get her mind off Tanya so that Quentin could murder him.

Woodall's character Jack nearly broke the Internet with Season 2 Episode 5, where it was revealed that Jack was s*xually involved with his uncle Quentin after Tanya catches them having s*x one night.

In an interview with People Magazine, Woodall revealed that he had not shared this twist even with his family, and it was weird to watch it with them:

"I hadn't told a single soul that that happens, so they were all quite flabbergasted. Yeah, that was a weird one."

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, The Prime Target star also opened up on his experience of working on a big show with many A-listers:

“It was one of those shows where, because there were so many characters and so many storylines, there were so many days off...It felt very much like a stars-aligned moment when I got [the job].

Leo Woodall plays a math genius on Prime Target

Prime Target, which debuted on Apple TV on January 22, 2025, is Woodall's big main role, and he plays the character of Edward Brooks, a maths genius obsessed with prime numbers.

Brooks is sure that prime numbers could lead to a big discovery, allowing him access to every computer in the world. But the key lies in Prime numbers, and given such a big discovery, many organizations and the Government are also after Broos to get their hands on this 'key.'

Woodall is joined by actress Quintessa Swindell, who will play the character of Taylah Sanders, a surveillance agent tasked to keep tabs on Brooks.

In an interview with ScreenRant, Woodall opens up on how he prepared for his unusual character on Prime Target:

''For a lot of it, I had the preparation period of getting familiar with the math itself and spending time with our genius math consultant. That was one part of it.''

He added:

''He doesn't care. He's not doing niceties. For me, it was just mentally preparing for that, and it was hard. There were a lot of times where I wanted to just smile at people, and I wasn't allowed.''
