The character of Jackie Ming was responsible for the car bomb that led to the injury of Mark Mitchell in the show's Season 2. Ming wanted to assassinate Dwight and the plan was to be carried out by Hanjin. However, Hanjin got killed when the bomb exploded and Mark Mitchell survived the explosion because he did not fully enter the car when the bomb was detonated.

The whole incident occurs in Tulsa King Season 2 Episode 6. Tyson convinces Dwight to sell him the Navigator and gives the keys to his father Mark. When Mark starts the car, a white Prius speeds away and a bomb in the car is detonated. Even though Tyson saw the Prius, he is unable to stop the bombing and feels guilty about his father’s health as Dwight has warned Tyson that if he takes the Navigator, he will have to be careful as Dwight’s enemies think that he still drives the car.

Earlier in the episode, Jackie Ming, the leader of the Chinese gangsters, had confronted Cal Thresher and had told him that he will not use “half measures”. Therefore, he intended to kill Dwight and that car bombing was meant for Dwight but Mark got injured instead.
