Who is Nathan Fillion's The Gentleman in The Mighty Nein?

Nathan Fillion made his The Mighty Nein debut as the Gentleman in Episode 6. The Gentleman is a water genasi and former crime boss from Zadash with light teal skin, a dark goatee, and shoulder-length, jet-black hair. The charming figure always appears in a dark blue coat and leather gloves, exuding effortless confidence in his personality. Like every voice cast on the animated show, Nathan Fillion perfectly taps into the Gentleman's personality, creating equal parts fear and intrigue.

While the Gentleman appears to be a friend of the titular misfits, many fans are divided on his true intentions. The Mighty Nein Season 1 finale saw the Gentleman make another job offer to the titular group to steal the Beacon, which created a rift between the group. While the group reunited and agreed to the crime boss's offer, his true motives will likely be revealed if/when the animated show returns for another season. Fans were pleased with Fillion's cameo and the cheerful and approachable personality he brought to the character. It would certainly be interesting to see The Rookie star reprise his character in the coming seasons.
