The villa doors weren’t the only ones opening and closing this week—so were hearts, friendships, and, well, a few secrets. Love Island USA season 7 episode 14 didn’t waste any time kicking things up a notch. That moment of vulnerability led to a photobooth kiss, one of the few light-hearted moments in an otherwise drama-heavy episode of Love Island USA. The vibe between the two seemed strong, and it looked like a fresh chapter might be starting for them.

Ariana Madix’s arrival at the fire pit always means chaos, and episode 14 didn’t disappoint. This time, the recoupling came with a twist: the girls would choose who could open their doors. Literally.
Each girl selected one boy with whom they felt the strongest connection. The guys then stood in front of the door they hoped would open. Some doors unlocked—some didn’t. Nicolas chose Cierra. Door opened. Pepe picked Hannah. Door opened. Austin had to choose between Amaya and Chelley. He picked Amaya, and her door opened too. Ace stood in front of Chelley’s door, which also opened. Jalen picked Olandria’s door, it stayed shut. But when Taylor walked up next, her door opened for him.
As for Jeremiah? He picked Iris. Her door opened, sealing their new couple status. But the drama wasn’t done.
One islander leaves Love Island USA
After all the door drama, the final twist was yet to come. With both Huda and Jalen left without a match, the islanders had to vote—one by one—on whom to save.
The guys made their picks first: Austin, Nicolas, Pepe, and Jeremiah stood behind Jalen.
Then came the rest. Ace, Iris, Chelley, Cierra, Amaya, Taylor, Hannah, and Olandria chose to save Huda.
That decision sealed Jalen’s fate. He was officially dumped from the island. Just like that, his journey on Love Island USA came to an end.
