24 in 24: Last Chef Standing Season 2 finale crowned a winner on May 25, 2025. The episode saw an epic showdown between chefs Jonathan Sawyer and Bryan Voltaggio. They had to make an elevated dinner for the judges and chose lamb and Blue Foot chicken as their protein choices.

The competition was tough, however, Jonathan Sawyer dominated the round and won the 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing season. The chef immediately got emotional upon winning the round and felt proud.

He revealed his sobriety journey and how he has been clean for 30 months now. Reflecting on his old self, Jonathan said that he wouldn't have been able to pull this off before. It is the first time he has won a reality TV competition show on Food Network.

Talking about his victory, Jonathan expressed,

"This is a competition that tested me in a way that I've never been tested before — mentally, physically, emotionally, and culinarily. There's no way any other version of myself could've won this, and the best version of me did win."

As for Bryan, who did great too in the final round, he was happy for Jonathan but upset about losing as well. He hasn't been a winner of any culinary reality TV show yet, and this was the fourth where he had to settle for the title of runner-up. He said,

"Not the result I wanted, but again, it's been an amazing experience. I'm not coming back, that's for sure. One and done on this one, one and done."

24 in 24: Last Chef Standing Season 2 finale

The second part of Shift 8 on 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing saw Jonathan Sawyer versus Bryan Voltaggio. Sawyer had the Golden Knife going into the round and thus decided to work with a rack of lamb for dinner.

As for Bryan, he stuck with Blue Foot Chicken. The former had decided to make lamb chops with uni and chanterelle mushrooms, while the latter had presented Roasted Blue Foot Chicken with parsnips and maitake mushrooms.

Before the winner was revealed, the hosts asked each contestant to express what it would mean to win the prize money. At this point, neither had ever won a culinary reality show on Food Network.

Bryan revealed that he would like to pay the money forward to No Kid Hungry NGO, where he could help children in need. However, he also planned to set aside some of the amount to take his family on vacation.

As for Jonathan Sawyer, he talked about his personal journey dealing with substance abuse. However, he has been sober for 30 months now and has been doing better than ever.

The chef said he would also pay it forward, but to help other chefs like him who have been struggling with substance abuse. He would like to see them live to their full potential.

After much consideration, given that both of them were worthy candidates, it was Jonathan Sawyer who was crowned the winner of 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing and took home the $75,000 cash prize.
