Season 6 of Tournament of Champions came to its conclusion and crowned its fifth winner, Antonia Lofaso. The finale aired on Food Network on April 20, 2025, and featured the finalists bringing their best potential during the endgame.
The series focuses on a grand championship where chefs from other culinary reality shows are invited to compete against each other in a grand tournament. The show follows an unbiased format where the judges have to do a blind taste test during the single elimination format, in which two chefs compete against each other.
The biggest twist comes with the slot machine called 'The Randomizer,' which determines the protein, produce, equipment, cooking style, and time limit for the chefs participating in the battle.
The episode began with a battle between Antonia Lofaso and Britt Rescigno. Their protein was pompano, figs were the chosen produce, and lava rocks served as the cooking equipment.
When the judges announced their results, it was seen that the two had tied scores at 82. However, taste is set as the tiebreaker, and this is where Antonia's dish took the spotlight, winning her the battle.
Britt was visibly upset about not winning the season, but felt like she could do better later on, meaning that fans might see her more in the next seasons of Tournament of Champions.
Tournament of Champions season 6: What led to Antonia Lofaso winning?
The second battle on the Tournament of Champions season finale starred chefs Bradley and Wong. Their protein was set at blue silkie chicken, and sorrel was the produce.
The equipment is turmeric leaves, and en papillote was the cooking style set for the dish. The wild card color was black. After they were done cooking, the judges accounted their scores—85 to 83, giving Bradley the win by two points.
The final match roll was led out next, which saw an intense battle between Antonia Lofaso and Sara Bradley. The randomizer was doing its best to create the toughest competition.
It gave them wagyu beef as protein, huitlachoche for the produce, sausage stuffer for equipment, and hot and cold for the style. There was an envelope for the wild card entry, which ultimately ended up with them being asked to make the hot part of their dish spicy, and the cold part sticky.
The judges for the finale episode were Maneet Chauhan, a two-time Tournament of Champions winner, Brooke Williamson, Season 1 winner, and Mei Lin, Season 4 winner.
The twist that came at the end was none other than Martha Stewart, who graced her presence to judge the final dish.
At the end, viewers saw Antonia Lofaso win with 88 points against Sara Bradley's 82 points.
