Why was 90 Day Fiancé star Tyray allegedly “dumped” by TLC?

Tyray has appeared on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise twice before being removed from the team by TLC. This was speculated by him on his Instagram stories during a Q&A session when a fan inquired about his potential return.

Starring first in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Tyray was featured with his online girlfriend, Carmella. However, things did not turn out well between the couple when it was revealed that her identity might not be real.

Thus, Tyray was given a chance to feature on another 90 Day Fiancé spinoff called The Single Life during its 4th season, which might aid him in finding love.

Getting a match during his time on the show, Tyray decided to have his first kiss on camera, but the whole thing went down like a blooper. Fans felt that it was forced and awkward, like a script, and not real.

Now that it has been years since viewers last saw him on TLC, during a Q&A session on his Instagram, he came forward and asked him about his whereabouts and whether he will star again on the channel within the franchise.

However, Tyray's reply was negative, with him even saying that he might never return. The 90 Day Fiancé alum said,

"I'm not sure if I'll be back or not. I think they dumped me."

This suggests that TLC has potentially dumped him from their huge cast list.

Tyray's journey throughout the 90 Day Fiancé franchise

Tyray starred in Before the 90 Days in June 2023, where he hit the biggest roadblock of his life, and that too on national TV.

The star who fell in love with his online girlfriend and wanted her to visit him in the United States and maybe get married in the future, following the pattern of the 90 Day Fiancé shows, found out that she does not exist. It was a huge setback for Tyray, who had dealt with the emotional loss from all of it.

The TLC network, seeing his sorrow, decided to cast him for their The Single Life spinoff, where Tyray would be given another chance to find love. Even though his initial few weeks were rough and the dating life was not going as well as expected, he was determined and ultimately was rewarded with a match in Shannon.

Their chemistry was obvious to the viewers, but yet again, Tyray was met with disappointment when the couple broke up.

Now, fans, who are speculating and waiting for his return, also analyzed why he is denied entry again into the TLC franchise. They feel that Tyray is not as dramatic as the channel would want him to be.

He is also single, which bars him from entering spinoffs such as Before the 90 Days once again. The current 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, called Hunt for Love, might be a perfect opportunity for him, but the first season is already airing with a fixed cast.

Fans can currently hold out hope for the second season of this series or potentially make peace with never seeing him on TLC again.
