Juliana Pasquaroza and Grant Ellis were the power couple of The Bachelor season 29, as they made the most sense. At the finale of the show, only two women had remained: Juliana and Litia. Even though Grant had a connection with both of them, he chose the former to be his fiancée and explore their connection in the real world.
However, it has been just two months since the episode aired that the two announced their split. The news came on Instagram as both of them uploaded their respective posts and stories to let the fans know that they are no longer together.
Grant mentioned that they have called off their engagement and will be going their separate ways from here. Explaining it all, he said that they had given it their best shot, but ultimately, things did not work out even after trying for it.
He wrote,
"This is one of the harder things I’ve had to write, but I want to share it honestly. Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship. We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we’ve come to the understanding that we’re simply not the right fit long term.
Adding, he said,
What we had was meaningful. The connection we built on the show was real, and so was the effort we made to continue once the cameras stopped rolling."
The Bachelor Season 29 couple Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquaroza announce their split
The announcement that The Bachelor Grant had shared on his Instagram was accompanied by a picture of him and Juliana in a black and white filter, adding a flair to the message. He concluded the message by saying that there were no hard feelings between them and the two did not hold any resentment for each other.
As for Juliana, she echoed Grant's feelings and claimed to be grateful for the experiences that they shared on The Bachelor and even the ones after that. She wrote,
"Marriage is a commitment, and it’s one we both still believe in deeply. After a lot of honest conversations and reflection, we’ve come to the decision that this chapter of our lives is meant to continue on separate paths.”
Juliana and Grant had gotten together during the Bachelor finale, where he sat down on one knee and asked her the question. To this, she said, "A million times yes!"
This started their journey together, which, who knew, would come to an end this soon. The ex-couple had even announced at the time that they were to move in together in Boston, where Grant lives.
