Match Me Abroad season 2 is about to premiere, and TLC has released the lineup of the new cast members. One of them is 43-year-old Harold, who hails from Irving, Texas. He is coming in for the second time after doing season 1 when he was trying to find love in Prague, but that did not go his way.
The series focuses on singles from the United States hoping to find their love match outside of the country. The producers link them up with international matchmakers who find a partner for them in the country of their choice.
Through this, the viewers get to see the pros and cons of cross-country dating and how well it suits the cast members.
As for the newest season of Match Me Abroad, it is about to air on June 22, 2025, on TLC. The series will feature a diverse cast, and among them is returning Harold, who has decided to explore his connections in Singapore. Providing the reason he has chosen to do so, he said,
"I'm very eager to live on my own with my future wife, but dating in America has not worked out for me. Lately, I have switched locations on all dating apps and I have found that I have the most success in Singapore, I think. Because they see me as tall and cute. So, I wish to go to Singapore to have my luck changed."
Match Me Abroad star Harold wishes to find a partner from Singapore
Harold, in a clip released by TLC of his preview on Match Me Abroad, revealed that he currently lives with his grandmother. It is not very sad, but it gets lonely on the weekends when he binge-watches the entire seasons of Star Trek and then starts another one.
Sitting on their lawn with his grandmother, Harold revealed that he drew out his dream woman holding a dog.
Adding to why he wants to meet a Singaporean woman, Harold said,
"Singaporean women are cute and s*xy, and I have also noted that a lot of women over there they love anime, which is amazing because it is very nerdy in America, but I have seen thousands and Thousands of anime. So, it will be really cool if we nerd it out on all of the same things."
Even though he is living with his grandmother right now, Harold has hopes of meeting the right match soon. Even his grandma reassures him that he will sense when the right one will come along in his life.
As for the matchmaker who will be paired up with Harold, it is Dolly. She works in Singapore and is coming on the show for the first time. As for Harold, his bio for Match Me Abroad season 2 reads,
