Why did Huda and Chris argue on Love Island USA Season 7 Episode 31? 

Love Island USA Season 7 has seen multitudes of Huda, first through Jeremiah and now that she is with Chris. The most recent episode, episode 31, which dropped on Peacock on July 7, 2025, saw the islanders in a unique setting.

As soon as they woke up, the couples were each given babies. Ace & Chelley and Pepe & Iris were given twins, and the rest were given single kids. Huda and Chris were also given a child.

During the daytime, while the girls were having lunch on the balcony, the men were together and decided to play a little game with their respective babies. They set a challenge for themselves and had to race and see who would go the longest without their baby crying.

While they were in this, there was one round where the dads had to change the fake baby's clothes and move on to the next round. Huda, who was watching and analyzing Chris' behavior and mannerisms from the balcony, saw him speedily rip the t-shirt off the baby's head and change into something.

This flabbergasted his Love Island USA partner, who let Chris know that he shouldn't be handling the baby in such a way. However, he was way too focused on winning, and then when he was putting on some other set of clothing for the baby, Huda said that she didn't like that color. To this, Chris asked her to "shut up."

Huda was not on board with being disrespected, and when the boys' race was finished, she told Chris that he could not talk to her in this way. He apologized. However, during his confession, he said Huda was quite "bossy." He said that she took the game way too seriously, and this was just a fake baby.

Later on Love Island USA, when they were almost done and the day was over, Huda was folding all the babies' clothes. Chris decided to talk to her and communicate. Huda revealed that it was not just about him asking her to "shut up," but she felt very neglected during the parent yoga session that he organized.

She said he asked everyone to express their feelings but did not ask her. And then when she was taking care of the baby, he just picked up his yoga mat and did not pick hers to put them back. The scene then showed Huda asking Chris to pick up her yoga mat as well.

Huda says that these small details might not look the biggest or might not be that deep, but she takes notice of them and does not feel good.

Chris understood where she was coming from and how the baby situation might have triggered her to miss her daughter back home, whom she had left to be here in the Love Island USA villa. He told her he would be better, and the two ended their conversation with a kiss.
